For Easter this year we spent the weekend at the beach and then took our traditional trip to Manning on Easter Day to see Paul's grandmother and his family. We went to church on Sunday at my grandmother's church on James Island which is also where we got married. Brady and Katelyn came to "big church" with us, and they did so well. Paul did take Katelyn out before the service was over, but Brady stayed the whole time and did so great. His teacher told me when he returned to school that she over heard him talking to a friend during play time. He told him that he went to church with Grandma Jane and that he saw Jesus. His friend said, "No you didnt Jesus is dead!" But Brady told him, "No, he was there in the church with me." He also told him how he ate the bread because Jesus gave him food to eat. It was the sweetest thing I ever heard. His teacher said it brought her to tears to hear how he was talking about Jesus the way he was at just 3 years old. He really is a special little boy.
It was such a great weekend, and looking back at these pictures makes me want to go back to the beach immediately. We try to get our beach time in during the "off season" since my dad's beach house is typically rented all through the summer months.
We were able to get some good beach time, pool time, golf cart rides, and fun with cousins all while we were there. Sorry for the picture overload, but I will let them do the talking!
