Besides the beach, our other favorite summer getaway is to the lake! We have already spent a few days at the lake house this summer, and we hope to get out there a lot more. The kids love riding on the boat, and Brady loves swimming in the lake. Katelyn still just likes to observe the swimming portion. I can't blame her- I prefer a pool for swimming myself.
We spent one day over Memorial Day weekend at the lake house. Brady rode on the jet ski for the first time, and we finally found my missing dolls that I knew were in the attic at the lake! It is so sweet to watch Katelyn play with my old barbies and dolls. Now that we have another little girl on the way, I am so glad we found them!
We ended the day with some fried chicken and ice cream cones at Zestos. It was a great day!
