3 of a kind

It is an especially exciting time for the DuRant side of our family. All THREE of us girls are pregnant at the same time! And, very close together might I add. It is funny how that worked out, and I can't wait to see all of our babies together. This past weekend my sister-in-laws threw me a shower in Charleston. It was so nice, and I got LOTS of good stuff. I am so thankful to have such wonderful family and friends that love me and my baby boy.

Everything was perfect, and I am so thankful to Paige and Maggie for hosting the shower especially since they are both busy planning for their own new additions.  I have been doing a lot of nesting lately, and will post pictures of the nursery as soon as it is complete :).  I have had so much fun decorating it, and I can't wait to see the finished product.  I am definitely in full throttle baby mode these days!  Only 3 more months until I am a mommy.

25 weeks

We have made it to 25 weeks!  I am still feeling pretty great these days other than noticing a few discomforts now and again.  I sometimes find it hard to get comfortable at night.  I do a lot of tossing and turning.  I will wake up and have to switch positions because my legs get cramped up.  I looked in the mirror this morning and thought, "whoa this thing is getting big."  I was referring to my belly of course...which is very itchy these days, another sign that this thing is GROWING.  I had a doctor's appointment this morning, and everything still looks great.  I have one more 1 month appointment, and then I will start going every 2 weeks.  I also was given my hospital registration packet.  Ahh, I am really having a baby!  I can't believe that we only have 3 months to go.

I haven't made any more progress on the nursery, but I will be sure to post more pictures when I do.  Other than preparing/day dreaming/talking about everything baby, not much has been going on at the DuRant household.  We spent July 4th weekend at the lake which was nice (after I recovered from strep throat).  We have just been working and spending time with our first child, Riley.  He just doesn't even know what is about to hit him...poor thing.
