Another highlight of our trip was getting to see lots of friends and family that we don't get to see that often. One of my besties from college, Cady Nell, came to see us one night. It was so good getting to catch up. We live two very different lives right now, yet we still have so much in common. I love her to death, and I am so happy she came to visit us.
Brady was also lucky enough to get a play date in with his cousin, Henry! I just love seeing these two together. They are just getting to the age where they really play together and get excited to see each other. It is so fun to watch them play. Brady calls him "He He"- so cute!
One day during Brady's nap time, Paul, Katelyn, and I ventured to downtown Charleston to do a little furniture shopping. We stopped to take a picture in front of Paul's alma mater, The College of Charleston.
When we got home, Brady was out on the beach with Waldo and Frankie, so we decided to go join them. It was a little windy, but it felt great out.

Doesn't get much better than this! |
There was also a playground down the road that was a quick golf cart ride away that we went to frequently. He loved it and didn't want to leave!
Katelyn also got to meet her Great Aunt Allyson.
It was a fantastic week, and I wish we could go back tomorrow. I can't wait for next year and couldn't help but keep imagining how fun next year will be when they are both able to run around on the beach.
